This project was originally a new covered deck, then in the design process changed to a 3 seasons room. We used Timbertech’s PVC Capped Composite Decking in Antigua Gold in the Tropical Series and also used Westbury’s Full Aluminum Railing (Tuscany Series) for the stairs. We also did add Timbertech Riser Lights to the stairs for safety in the evening. The original 6′ sliding door was changed out to a double french door so it may open fully the the new room. We used fully insulated glass windows from Windsor. The roof was a gable style to go with the design of the house and also allowed us to build a vaulted ceiling inside. We then covered the ceiling with Cedar Carsiding. The Ceiling and Floor is fully insulated. The interior was done with trim, then painted to bring the outdoors feeling inside the new room. This Spring the exterior will be painted. The complete deck project turned out great and added more interior space to their home, that also feels like your outside!
