All White Rail Deck w/ Custom Bridge over Landscaping
This original deck on this house was in need of some TLC. The homeowner wanted some design ideas on how to get the most use of their outdoor living area from a deck. We came up with a few schematics and they chose the concept with a semi-wrap around deck with a bridge over a retaining wall with some landscaping below. We built the frame and then installed Wood Treated Decking but they wanted a custom look and low-maintenance railing. We then chose to use the Full Aluminum Westbury Tuscany Railing and to give the deck some custom personality, we then chose Timbertech’s White Post Wraps with the Timbertech’s Low-Voltage Post Cap Accent Lighting. The lighting has a sun sensor that turns the lights on automatically when the sun sets and it stays on for a set amount of hours after. The White Railing with the Lights really made this deck look great. On top of it – her daughter owns a business that assembles flowers in cool pots and combines different flower types to create a custom and always changing areas. I have a feeling that this deck will have a different feel for every season.
