Azek 8 Inch Border

Azek 8 Inch Border

Azek in Spring of 2019 came out with Multi-Width deck boards.  These homeowners talked with a few contractors in Spring, did some extensive research, then got a hold of me at the end of Summer.  We decided to tear off the existing deck and build a larger deck with a new stair setup.  The materials they choose was Azek Full PVC Composite Decking (Vintage Series).  The main color of the decking was Weathered Teak, then accented in the 8″ deck board and fascia of the Dark Hickory.  Those two colors were the perfect match for accent!  We then upgraded the railing to the Westbury’s Full Aluminum Railing in the Rivera Series (Double Top Rail).  We had the larger 4″ posts on the corners, then the 2″ posts in the longer sections of railing.  Finish touches were deck lighting.  We installed Timbertech / Azek Riser Lights and Westbury’s Post Cap Lights.  They upgraded the lighting transformer to a BlueTooth, so they can control the lights via their phone to turn them on/off, as well as dimming the lights.  The deck turned out great and this was our first with the 8″ deck board around the border.
