Project Overview:
We embarked on a complete transformation by removing the old deck and constructing a new, larger outdoor living space. This project showcases the superior quality of Azek decking with the Vintage Series of English Walnut and the elegance of Westbury railing, and the practical benefits of Timbertech DrySpace underdeck system for a dry space below the deck.
Azek Decking:
The heart of this project is the expansive Azek decking, known for its exceptional durability, low maintenance, and beautiful wood-like appearance. This premium composite material ensures the deck will remain stunning and functional for years to come. The series was the Vintage Series. To add a touch of sophistication and visual appeal, the deck was picture framed with an accent board. An 8-inch wide deck board was used to frame the perimeter, creating a striking contrast and a polished, finished look.
Westbury Railing:
Complementing the deck’s design, we installed Westbury railing. This sleek and modern railing system not only provides safety but also enhances the overall aesthetics, adding a touch of elegance to the deck.
Timbertech DrySpace:
To maximize the utility of the space below the deck, we installed Timbertech DrySpace, an innovative underdeck system. This system effectively channels water away from the area beneath the deck, creating a dry, usable space for storage or additional outdoor activities.
