Composite Deck with Wide Stairs and Framed Shade

For this project, we removed the old deck and built a brand-new composite deck, using Timbertech Reserve Series decking in Reclaimed Chestnut for the main color and Dark Roast for a rich, contrasting accent. This combination brings warmth and elegance to the outdoor space, perfectly complementing the home’s aesthetic.

During the design phase, we worked closely with the homeowner to bring their vision to life, showcasing different ideas through 3D design models. This allowed them to visualize various options and select the layout and features that best suited their needs and style.

One of the standout features is the extra-wide stairs on one side of the deck, which open seamlessly into the backyard, creating a grand entrance and easy access to the yard for gatherings and relaxation.

To provide flexibility for year-round enjoyment, we installed a custom Framed Shade that covers the entire deck. The shade can be put up in the summer for cool relief from the sun, and then removed in the winter to allow warm sunlight into the home.

This project delivers a versatile, comfortable, and stylish outdoor living space that adapts beautifully to the changing seasons.
