Composite Timbertech Deck with Under Deck Skirting

Composite Timbertech Deck with Under Deck Skirting

This deck was a very fun deck to build and the homeowners were great to work with. The original deck was made of wood and a little smaller than the new deck. The new deck is 22′ deep. We chose a low maintenance material. We used Timbertech PVC Capped Composite Decking Legacy – Tigerwood for the main decking and then picture framed with a darker board of Timbertech’s Legacy – Pecan. We used a Bronze color Westbury with Larger 4″ posts for the railing. Because the deck was close to the ground and the kids liked to play basketball on the patio beside the deck, we then decided to install horizontal decking from the bottom of the deck frame to the ground so balls and animals couldn’t get under the deck. We then added flush in deck riser lights for the stairs for safety in the evening to light up the stairs. The decking and railing colors went great together. The homeowners like to invite friends over to socialize and this deck will get much use. The homeowners will love it for years to come!!
