Covered Patio with Cedar Ceiling
This was a deck resurface project and what created this project was old deck would move up and down in the winter due to the footings in the ground. It may not have been deep enough or very clay dirt in the certain area in Ankeny. We had TechnoPost install the footings for the deck before we started. Then we came and installed all new decking on the existing frame and rebuilt the stairs. We also added railing to below the deck for a dog run. Westbury Gates were installed on the deck as well as below in the dog run. It was also time to become maintenance free so the product we chose was Timbertech’s PVC Capped Composite Decking. The colors were from the Tropical Series with Antigua Gold for the main color then accented with the Antique Palm. We then upgraded the railing to Westbury’s Full Aluminum Railing in the Rivera Series with Larger and Smaller posts to create a clean and custom look. This deck looks great from inside the windows, on the deck, as well as from the golf course view. We also did wrap the beam to finish it up. This deck is the perfect setting for a busy day at work.
