Custom Pergola with Ozco Brackets

This deck is only a few years old, but the homeowners wanted to make the existing deck more custom without expanding the size and also getting some shade. We decided to build a pergola over top. This pergola will be painted white after the wood is dry to match the railings. Some unique things we did with this project was we added some Ozco Ornamental Wood Ties on the wood connection points. The Ozco Products are the black steel and decorative. We used Joist Hangers, Post to Beam Brackets, and Black Hurricane Clips to make this pergola pop with some extra details. The brackets were special order, but really shows off the details.

Scheduling depends on permits, material availability, and weather: early acceptance improves placement but does not guarantee a specific start date.
