Daylight to Walkout Deck Project

Daylight to Walkout Deck Project

This backyard project had a huge transformation.  The original back of the house had a walkout on the left side of house with a sliding door out the basement.  Then the deck was beside with the ground about 5 feet higher.  We had Pat with Earthly Possibilities remove a bunch of dirt out to create a full walkout deck.  They then built a Retaining Wall from the ground to new area below the deck.  We then built a larger deck which then covered the original area and then on top of the original walkout area.  The materials used was Cedar Decking and a Full Aluminum Westbury Railing (Tuscany Series) in Black color.  We also installed Trex Rain Escape so under the deck will be in dry area when it rains.  After the deck project was completed, we had Scott with Silver Fox Construction come in to pour a colored concrete patio below the complete deck and under the stairs.  The homeowner found some railing lights that are solar and attach to the top of the railing – in the night they look great!!  The three contractors worked seamless together for this backyard transformation.  The complete project turned out great and right in time for our 70 degree Spring Days!!
