Deck Resurface with Verti Cable Rail

Deck Resurface with Verti Cable Rail

This deck was fun to resurface and the clients were great to work with!! The original deck was made of wood with wood railing that has been stained many times. I met with the clients and they were looking for low maintenance decking and a simple rail. With the Decking we chose Timbertech’s PVC Capped Composite Decking (Tropical – Antique Palm) which color and style went great with their brick house. Since they have an amazing backyard with a great yard from the deck, we were thinking about having a very thin rail that could be seen through very easily. Cable Rail was the answer, then we chose Westbury’s VertiCable Rail. VertiCable is cable that is Vertical than the original Horizontal cable which are most Cable Rail Systems. This kind of rail requires very little maintenance compared to the horizontal rail systems which need tightened every so often. Also what I personally like about this system is kids cannot climb the rail which is a much safer alternative than the horizontal rail systems but still gives the personalized look and the great see-through views. The Homeowner’s are impressed it only took us 3 days to build and love the decking and railing choices. Many great times ahead for this family on their new deck!!
