This client got our name from Gilcrest Jewett out of Waukee, where we purchase most of our products. They were looking to upgrade their existing deck from wood to a low-maintenance product. With the color of the house and the trim, we chose to use the following products for their deck: Timbertech PVC Capped Composite Decking (Legacy Series – Tigerwood) and Westbury’s Full Aluminum Railing (Tuscany Series) in White color (To match the trim and windows). They were also looking for a way to screen/window the covered deck so they can enjoy it more months out of the year. We did install a screen on the joists and below the decking for bug protection when everything is closed in. For the windows/screens, they chose an Eze-Breeze Window Product that has a 4-track system. These windows have four different panes that slide up or down and are easily removable. Great design; the windows can slide all the way up, all the way down, split in the center, or have any other type of air movement they prefer. The project turned out great, and now the homeowners can enjoy their backyard view for a few more months each year!!
