Tennis Ball Plinko Deck

Tennis Ball Plinko Deck

This project was with a really cool younger family that got probably more then they were expecting.  Something that is as far as I know has never been built into a deck or to this degree.  They originally wanted to expand their deck and possibly put a slide on it for their dog.  Instead, I said give me a few days and let me think of something that would be fun for the dog and the owners.  A few days later, I emailed the client a 3D Schematic of a Plinko Wall that a dog could drop a tennis ball through the railing, then have it fall off the deck into a custom plinko wall, then down to the ground.  Then by theory, the dog would get it on the ground and bring it up and do it again.  The homeowner agreed on the design and the Plinko Concept.  We then built it and it turned out great.  I sent the homeowner a picture of the plinko building process while he was at work and he used the word “epic”.  Also since this deck is used for entertainment, we installed a custom bar top in the rail that overlooks the yard also.  Then they will be getting a door out of their master bedroom for another access point.  Materials were Treated Decking & Treated Post Rail with Black Metal Traditional Spindles. This deck turned out great and will be years of fun!!  Also the homeowner’s can tell their friends about the plinko wall, so they may have to keep a picture of it on their phone so people believe them!!
