Wrap Around Deck
This growing family had a deck that was only 10 foot deep and wasn’t large enough for a family that entertains often. They were looking for a new design with a larger deck. We tore off the old deck and built a new 14′ deep deck and had it wrap around. There was a nice tree in the way, so we built around the tree. We also resurfaced their front porch to match the new deck. They were also looking for a low-maintenance decking / railing. The materials we choose was Timbertech’s PVC Capped Composite Decking and a Full Aluminum Westbury Railing. To give the deck a custom look, we had some different angles in the decking. The main decking is Timbertech’s – Legacy Pecan Color and then we picture framed it with Timbertech’s Legacy – Mocha. We also upgraded the railing to a double rail from Westbury called Rivera. Also we then added a Drink Rail on top of the rail with the Timbertech’s Legacy – Mocha deck board on top. Next for the homeowner is to get new furniture to use the new outdoor space. We built the deck after Thanksgiving, so when Spring comes – they will have all Spring/Summer/Fall to enjoy. The homeowner’s love the new deck and will be used often for entertaining!!
