Resurface Cedar and Westbury Bronze
This deck needed some TLC before our arrival. The framing was in great condition, but it had 1st Generation Composite Decking installed with butt joints and was not installed correctly. We removed all of the decking and railing off the original framing and then resurfaced the existing frame with all new cedar decking. The homeowners chose a cedar decking, then we decided to build with a picture frame in the middle to separate the areas and so there would be no splices in the decking because of the overall length. To create better views, upgrade the deck to more custom, and easier maintenance – we then choose to upgrade the railing to a Full Aluminum Westbury Railing (Tuscany Style) in a Bronze color to accent with the house color. The homeowners and their dog was very fun to work with and they will have many years of enjoyment on there new deck!!
