Screened In Under Deck with Trex Rain Escape on New Cedar Deck

This project was a fun to do and the homeowners were great to work with!! The original deck was the same size as the new one. It had 1st Generation composite decking which had no spaces between the deck boards which caused issues when originally built. Then they had a lattice wall below for storage and a dry deck system which was leaking in multiple locations. We then tore all of the existing off and rebuilt the complete project. We then built a new Cedar Deck with Trex Rain Escape Under Deck Dry System so it would be completely dry under the deck. We used maintenance free Westbury Full Aluminum Railing on top of the deck and on the stair landing. The homeowners then had the concrete patio and concrete foundation wall cleaned up and painted. Then had a hot tub installed below. We then came back and installed screens all around using Screeneze Screen Rail System with Cedar Trim. The screen itself was SuperScreen which is a pretty strong screen that doesn’t dent and is made to bend in the case a ball hit’s it. The homeowner will now be able to enjoy the deck on nice evenings and if it rains, go below the deck and relax in the hot tub and not have to worry about bugs!! Many years and parties will come from this deck project!!
