Tigerwood with Sapele

With this deck, we worked with the homeowner and the landscaper (Landscapes by Martin).  The original deck had a staircase that took a lot of space that would have blocked the view of the new pool.  We tore off everything off the existing deck, but left the posts due to the patio below.  We then built a new deck with a landing off to the sides to keep the bottom as open as possible with keeping the view to the new pool.  The materials we used was Timbertech’s PVC Capped Composite decking in the Tigerwood color for the main decking and stair treads.  Then accented it with a picture frame and fascia/risers with Timbertech’s Legacy color of Sapele.  We installed the Trex Rain Escape on the deck so the homeowners can have a dry place to hang out during the rain.  We did not install a finished ceiling because that is a project for the future depending on what the homeowners are wanting to do in the future with the outdoor setup.  The deck, patio, and pool is turning out great.  In the spring, the landscaping plants will be installed and finish with the landscaping details.  Pool was built in the middle of summer, so they did get to use it this year, but next year – Game On!
