Timbertech Legacy Sapele – New Color 2018
The original deck on this house has had a solid stain that was pealing off. Also there are a young homeowner with a growing family. Their is goal was to have the entire backyard be useful for entertaining. The original deck framing was in great condition, but the stairs were in a weird place that was hard to place furniture and create a feeling to bring the backyard to the deck with ease. We then resurfaced the existing deck with Timbertech’s Capped Composite Decking (Legacy Series – Sapele). Which was a new color for 2018 and this was the first deck that we installed this color. Has a bit of a red tint to a mostly brown board. Looks great and very natural. The main goal was to move the stairs, we then built a couple of deck landings and rebuilt the stairs to come off the side of the house which was an unused area. The new stair location opens everything up and now the landscaping design can begin in the future. We also then installed Timbertech Riser Lights and Westbury Post Cap Lights to have a great accent view in the evening. This deck turned out great and the new color was worked out great with this house!! This deck will be used quite a bit and I am excited for this family’s new backyard outdoor adventure!!
