Project Overview:
We transformed an existing deck by resurfacing it with new Timbertech decking (Reserve Series – Dark Roast) and Westbury railing (Tuscany Series – Black), while keeping the original framing intact. This revitalized the deck’s appearance and functionality, ensuring it meets the highest standards of durability and aesthetics. As part of the project, we rebuilt the stairs to ensure they matched the updated decking and railing. The new stairs are sturdy, safe, and visually cohesive with the rest of the deck.
Horizontal Decking Wall for Privacy:
There is an existing hot tub below the deck and this property is near a walking path. To provide privacy for the hot tub area located beneath the deck, we installed a horizontal decking wall. This stylish privacy wall shields the hot tub from view, creating a serene and secluded space for relaxation. For additional safety, especially concerning access to the hot tub, we installed a gate under the deck. This gate ensures that the hot tub area is secure and easily accessible, giving homeowners peace of mind.
Final Touches:
The combination of Timbertech decking, Westbury railing, and thoughtful enhancements like the privacy wall and safety gate create a cohesive, beautiful, and functional outdoor space.
