Cedar Deck Resurface with Under Deck System
This was a fun deck with a lot of useful spaces. The original deck was a build 12×12 deck without stairs on a townhouse. We added and extension to the back of it so the total deck was 20’x12. We then build a set of stairs with a landing to the ground where the homeowner had a new concrete patio poured from Silver Fox Concrete. To have the new outdoor living area be more usable in the weather. We installed Trex’s Rain Escape to the joist so under the deck will stay dry. The Rain Escape is designed to catch the rain through the deck boards and force it to the end of a deck to a gutter, then to the ground. Last, we built a custom gate at the top of the deck. The homeowner will enjoy this new use of outdoor space for many years to come!!
