Timbertech with New Deck Roof and Cedar Carsiding
This original deck was a bit smaller, but the main thing was so many stairs that went to the ground – then had to walk up some steps to the back patio. The homeowners also wanted to have a roof over so they can enjoy the outside even when it rains. It currently has a lot of trees, but the roof will give the deck more shade and the ceiling fan can make a breeze on the hotter days. We built the new deck wider so we can have only a few stairs to the patio by changing the stair direction. We then choose Timbertech PVC Capped Composite for a low-maintenance deck. The roof we built also and included can lighting with a ceiling fan. Then installed Cedar Carsiding to the ceiling. The beams of the roof, posts from the deck to the roof, and the railing are all matching white that goes along with the existing house’s trim. The upgraded Westbury Full Aluminum Railing called Rivera was chosen because of the great view off the deck to the backyard up in the trees. By building this roof and the maintenance free decking and railing – the homeowners can now enjoy the outdoors even longer in the season through rain and heat. The homeowners will have years of enjoyment and watching there grandchildren grow!!
