New Cedar Deck with Westbury Rivera Railing
The owner had some construction issues with the original deck, and while he had to replace the existing deck – make it larger and more usable too!! The materials he chose was a Cedar Decking but then upgraded his railing to a Full Aluminum Maintenance Free Railing made from Westbury Rivera Style. The railing is the same we put on the composite decks and some cedar, but was upgraded to a double top rail for the great view in the backyard. To have this deck be more unique compared to others – we decided to add the large 4″ wide posts on the corners then the 2″ wide posts in the center railing spans. We then added Riser lights to his stairs, Post cap lights on the corners, then side accent lights to the center posts. All the lights use a Timbertech Transformer which automatically turn on the low voltage lights with a sun sensor for a certain amount of hours after day light ends. This deck is great for a growing family!!
