Trex Maderia with Wrapped Footing Posts
This home had a standard wood builder sized deck and the homeowners’s have a growing family. We removed the old deck and built a larger deck. This home recently also had a new Geo Thermal and Metal Roof w/ Solar Panels installed. To finish the maintenance free and more living off the main grid, they wanted a low maintenance deck which they would not have to stain/seal every couple of years. The existing patio was the pavers in a red color. They wanted the deck to semi-match the existing patio. The decking they choose was Trex Capped Decking (Select Series) in Maderia color. Then we installed Westbury’s Full Aluminum Railing with a Drink Rail of the Maderia Deck board for a top cap. We wrapped the lower beam and posts with a post sleeve made from Westbury in black color so it would match the railing. To finish off the deck, we installed Riser lights on the stairs and added post cap lights. All of the lights are connected by Samsung Smart Switch so it can be turned off by the smart house system. This complete project turned out great and this growing family will have many years of enjoying there new outdoor area!!
